You’ve found Resources for My Readers, the newsletter where I share enrichment materials and fun extras related to my books, plus tips, insights, and info about children’s book publishing and the writing life.
Who is this for?
This newsletter is written for my most enthusiastic readers—folks who already enjoy and support my body of work and who want to: enrich the reading experience for young readers; discover and extend learning connections; get behind-the-scenes tidbits and backstories; and be the first to hear about upcoming events and book news. This newsletter is also for people who share my passion for early literacy and the literary arts, and for those who sincerely love children’s books, especially picture books. If you:

What to expect?
Although I’ve blogged regularly for many years at www.dawnprochovnic.com, and the resources tab of my website has heaps of enrichment materials related to my books, writing a newsletter is a new adventure for me! Just like the early drafts of a picture book, the early stages of this newsletter are still a work-in-progress. Consider the current format a working draft that will be refined over time as I learn more about what I want to say and what my readers most value and appreciate about this resource.
During the initial launch, I aim to publish Resources for My Readers on a monthly-ish basis. The first several issues will include the following sections:
Dawn’s Desk: A sneak-peek at what I’m currently working on, grappling with, and/or getting ready to tackle.
Save-the-Dates and Deadlines: Upcoming events, project milestones, and book news.
Special Feature: Book enrichment activities; learning extensions and connections; story time lesson plans; articles and interviews about the writing life; highlights from the blog archive; insider tips, tricks, and resources; and Prochovnic Pep Talks.
Out and About: What I’ve been up to and enjoying away from my desk.
Prochovnic Picks: Books, music, websites, places, spaces, and other finds that I’m excited to share with you.

Kid’s Corner: Fun facts, jokes, cool and silly observations, memories, and miscellany.
